This page contains a short explanation of each of our member's specialties. Where available, each member's resume is also linked.

One important item should be noted. As you read, you will find references to a large variety of technologies, tools, and techniques. The most important of these is the techniques. Tools, such as computer languages and software packages are how techniques get implemented. Techologies such as B2C and B2B E-commerce are then applications of techniques.

In order to learn any particular technique, a tool must be used to develop an example technology. Once a technique is learned, any other tool or techology related to that technique is fairly easily learned.

For example. We discovered that because we have a solid understanding of Web CGI principles (in Perl), becoming productive in PHP3 took only minutes. The fact that we also have extensive OO backgrounds allowed us to begin using the full power of PHP as a web delivery language (tool) in a matter of hours.

The Alliances concept was hatched out by two guys who used to work for a small Government Consulting firm. They have provided the initial resources for this group to exist and function and have provided the vision to keep it growing.

The Professionals are the people who have become members of the Alliances, who have significant talents, and a desire to apply them.

The Assoiciates are members of Alliances who either have limited time or who are very new to the Alliances and haven't yet contributed enough to be considered a full Professional.
